The Crew Rockingham
Safe Night Space
Operating seven nights a week, the Safe Night Space will provide people sleeping rough or experiencing homelessness in Rockingham with safe overnight shelter and support to secure stable accommodation and improve long-term outcomes.
Up to 30 people can access safe overnight shelter, meals, shower and laundry facilities, and case management support connecting them with health, housing and other essential services.

Do your services cost anything?
No. Every service at The CREW is free. Meals, showers, laundry and Mobile Meals don’t need a booking — just come along. The Safe Night Space will need a booking once it opens.
What do I need to get a food hamper?
Hampers are given out every Thursday, 9:30am–12pm, at 5 Cessnock Way, Rockingham. Please bring your health care card or pension card to check-in. You can get a hamper once a fortnight. If you have re-usable bags, please bring them.
When and where are meals served?
Monday lunch and Thursday breakfast are served 9:30am–12pm at 5 Cessnock Way, Rockingham. On Sunday evenings the CREW Mobile Meals van visits five stops around Rockingham, starting at 4:50pm.
Can I have a shower or do my washing?
Yes. Hot showers, washing machines and dryers are available on Mondays and Thursdays, 9:30am–12pm. Toiletries are available if you ask a team member.
When will the Safe Night Space open?
The Safe Night Space is coming soon. It will be open 7pm–6:30am for up to 30 people a night, and bookings will be required. Find out more.
Where and when can I drop off donations?
Drop donations at 5 Cessnock Way on Mondays and Thursdays, 9am–1:30pm. See the items we need most.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. The CREW Rockingham has Deductible Gift Recipient status, so donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. Email donations@thecrew.org.au for a receipt.
How can I become a volunteer?
Volunteers must be 18 or older. Take a look at our roles and register your interest on the Volunteering page, and a team member will be in touch when a matching role opens up.
Does The CREW receive government funding?
No goverment funding for our hamper distribution, however we receive funding to operate our safe night space. Our work is made possible by local businesses, schools, churches, community groups, families and individuals.
